In preparation for the WSC meeting in early February 2023, the Board discussed the agenda and topics to be resolved.
WSA Monthly BOD Meeting – 10 December 2022
The meeting mostly discussed the preparation of the World Congress,
particularly (1) the World Congress dates, while waiting for confirmation from the central Government of Indonesia, (2) the draft Guidelines for Congress Delegates, to be circulated to the country members before the end of December 2022; and (3) the WSA Membership, criteria.
WSA – MSF Joint Meeting – 19 November 2022
The Joint Meeting organized by MSF was conducted for the joint approval of the 2023 MSF Program and Budget by the directors of WSA and the trustees of MSF.
The 2023 MSF Budget was unanimously approved by the WSA board of directors and MSF board of trustees.
White Book Team Meeting – 27 August
Paloma shared her meeting and testing with the IH during the IH Dewan gathering in Porto.
A new draft was presented based on the input from the IH. The WB should have the Preamble, be simple, light and short, basic distinction of roles, aimed for a person who is holding a role, Subud democracy explained, and to indicate term limit.
WSA Monthly BOD Meeting – 20 August
During the meeting Zone 1& 2 Representatives updated on the preparation for the Zone 1&2 meeting planned for 18th – 20th February 2023, after the World Council meeting in Rungan Sari.
Zone 3 Representative updated the board on the appointment of a new Subud Britain Chair Collin Matthew, during their National Congress; and on preparation for Assisi. Zone 8 Representative announced the second virtual Zone 8 gathering in September. The agenda of the meeting included updates from the Working Party on Guidelines for Delegates with inputs from the International Helpers. The WSA 2022 Budget needed to be amended to reflect the change of the WSC Meeting dates from financial year 2022 to 2023. Amendment to the budget was explained by Hannah Baerveldt, and approved by the members of the board. The minutes of the last board meeting in July was approved.
WCOT Meetings – 14th & 21st August
The WCOT planning team met to discuss the final result and conclusion of the survey conducted by Fatima Bustillo and to analyze the possible scenarios for the World Congress venues in Kalimantan.
A summary of the congress survey result was prepared and discussed with the team. Site options discussed and a table of possible venues scenarios was prepared for team members to provided their input and rating to reflect the pros and cons of each scenario. using the result of the survey as a basis. A scoring board for each venue/scenario was produced based on the rating. The result of the team’s analysis will be presented to the next Board Meeting.
WSA Monthly BOD Meeting – 16 July
At every board meeting the members approve the minutes of the last board meeting.
The other agenda at this meeting was approval of amendments to the MSF 2022 budget by the WSA board of director for the process of the Gran Salon sale. For this agenda, some of the members of the MSF board were present to explain the amendment in MSF 2022 budget. Updates from the working party on the MOU between WSA and SDIA was reported and follow-up action was discussed. The International Helpers Dewan reported and updated the board on their meeting in Porto (14th to 26th June); on the IH’s guidance for the next World Congress, and other activities of the IH which included zoom calls with helpers from around the world sand visit to Bucelas group. The Executive chair reported on the preparation for the 2023 World Subud Council meeting in Kalimantan, to be held on 6th to 14th February 2023. Also reported was the visit (7th- 10th July) of the Executive Chair to the Subud USA Archives Amani center in Washington DC, with the Chair of the WSA Archives Subcommittee, Matthew Moir.
WSA Working Party Meetings – Delegates Guidelines – 3 & 6 July
The team members of the working party are working on the guidelines for delegates to the next World Congress.
Team members consist of International Helpers, Zone Representatives, and WSA executive officers.

WSA Working Party Meeting – 12 June
The working party met to discuss comments and proposed revision to the draft MOU prepared by SDIA.
The revised draft MOU was prepared and shared with other members of the board by Google Drive. After consultation with the IH on WSA comments and revision, it will be proposed to SDIA. WSA scheduled to meet with IH on 3rd July.
