WSA Archives Canberra Facility – Progress report 18 April 2024
Re: WSA Archives Canberra Facility 1. After a period of negotiations with First Sheds in
The World Subud Association (WSA) is the international organization for the worldwide Subud community.
Subud is a spiritual exercise or training called the ‘latihan’ which is open to people of any religion or belief. Through this practice, a person may spontaneously experience inner changes that allow one to be more fully human, more sensitive to higher values and usually manifest themselves in a person’s everyday pursuits. Subud involves no doctrine and is not based on following a particular teaching; beliefs are formed based on each individual personal experience.
WSA is a 501 (c) (3) not for profit entity incorporated in the District of Columbia, USA, and currently, 54 national organizations of Subud are members of the WSA. Please see below our Subud worldwide organization.
The main purposes of WSA are to serve the members and to facilitate the development of Subud and Subud activities in the world. WSA provides services to Subud members such as information exchange, publications of Bapak’s and Ibu Rahayu’s talks, and Subud news, and also coordinates support with other Subud organizations for the attainment of latihan premises. WSA organizes international congresses and gatherings and it facilitates activities, programs and projects, which express our shared experience.
